Jennifer D. Stoudemire is a truly dedicated, talented, and
knowledgeable equestrian instructor for all riders (handicapped and non
handicapped). Jennifer has taken her education (BA Degree from
USC majoring in Sociology) and combined it with her 25 plus years of horse
experience to the point of developing Dream Riders into a truly model therapeutic
riding program. She is responsible for all program aspects from rider
pre-enrollment to the daily riding lessons, serving more than 42 riders
on a weekly bases, with emphasis on safety at all times. Additionally
Jennifer heads up all the equine care and equine training needs to maintain
our present field of equestrian mounts for all our Dream Riders clients.
Jennifer has been an avid horse person from a young girl. She started formal hunt seat lessons at age five and competed at the age of six. Jennifer was fourteen when she entered the world of Dressage and actively competed for seven years after which she took up stock seat and reining competition which she later realized was not as rewarding and pleasurable for her as was Dressage. She reversed direction and went back to Dressage and is currently training her young Friesian Warnblood gelding in the art of Classical Dressage under the instruction of Robert and Laura Hall. Jennifer continually strives to increase her abilities as an effective equestrian instructor for both special needs riders and riders without special needs through continued education. She also was an instrumental force in developing three of our Dream Riders clients to qualify for equestrian competition in the Special Olympics 2003 Summer World Games to be held in Ireland this June. Out side of her work at Dream Riders she gives formal Hunt seat and Dressage lessons to other equestrian riders. Jennifer holds the following certifications;
