Dream Riders would like to expand services to reach out to SC Foster Children
by partnering with the South Carolina Foster Parent Association
We need your support for dreams to become a reality !
“Heartfelt Dreams” a Year-Round Riding Program
Horseback riding and horse care can help SC foster children develop confidence, social skills, teamwork know-how, and other life skills they need to be successful, happy children and adults. Dream Riders, the experts in equine assisted therapeutic riding, is offering year-round lessons for a pilot program for four foster children. Costs for a weekly lesson per child is $25.00, with holidays and bad weather the figures are on 40 lessons per child per year. Total per child for a year of riding is a very reasonable $1,000.00 per foster child. The South Carolina Foster Parent Association will identify the children and help with the logistics.
Dream Riders and the SCFPA ask for your help for South Carolina’s foster children who can reap these rich benefits, now and in the future. Donation support through a donation ranging from one lesson to a full year sponsorship of lessons for a foster child, any type of support is welcome. To donate you may send funds to Dream Riders at 156 Sandy Hill Rd. Lexington, SC 29072 or donate through Paypal or by credit card by clicking on the Donate Button below., Or call the SCFPA staff at (803) 790-1194 to talk about sponsoring a child for a longer period of time.
